Location: London, hybrid
Salary: Up to £130k + uncapped commission
About the Role
An opportunity has opened for a Senior Business Development Executive to join a major global technology organisation within their Cloud & Infrastructure Services practice, focused on the Insurance sector.
This role is centred around winning new business and driving large-scale enterprise engagements across areas such as cloud, infrastructure operations, managed services, digital workspace, networks, SOC offerings and emerging AI-led capabilities.
The position would suit an experienced enterprise sales professional with a strong hunting mentality, comfortable opening doors, building pipeline and leading complex sales cycles through to close.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Originating and closing new business opportunities across Insurance clients
- Building and managing a strong enterprise sales pipeline
- Leading complex technology sales engagements from qualification through to close
- Engaging senior stakeholders across business and technology functions
- Working alongside presales, solution and delivery teams to shape opportunities
- Selling across cloud, managed services and infrastructure-focused offerings
Key Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong enterprise new business / hunting experience
- Experience selling cloud, infrastructure or managed services
- Background selling into Insurance clients
- Strong commercial and stakeholder management capability
- Experience managing large, complex sales engagements
- Ability to operate within large matrix organisations
