Job Role: Security Consultant (Architect) - Contract

Location: UK (Remote First)

Rate: £650 - Inside IR35

Contract Length: Initial 6 Months (Extensions Expected)

The Opportunity

We're supporting a leading global technology and cyber security consultancy in the search for an experienced Security Consultant (Architect) to join their growing cyber practice on a contract basis.

This role offers the opportunity to work with major enterprise clients, helping them design secure architectures, assess security risks and deliver practical security solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.

Working as a consultant, you'll be exposed to a broad range of industries, technologies and security challenges while partnering with stakeholders to strengthen cyber resilience and support large-scale transformation programmes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing secure architecture solutions across cloud and enterprise environments
  • Conducting threat modelling and security risk assessments
  • Advising clients on governance, risk and compliance requirements
  • Supporting AWS, Azure and GCP security initiatives
  • Performing security architecture reviews and technical assessments
  • Developing security standards, patterns and design principles
  • Working closely with engineering, infrastructure and security teams
  • Producing technical documentation, reports and architectural recommendations

About You

We're looking for experienced security professionals with a background in architecture, consulting or security engineering.

You'll ideally have experience with:

  • Security Architecture
  • Security Consulting
  • Cloud Security (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Threat Modelling
  • Enterprise Security Technologies
  • Security Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • NIST, ISO 27001, NIS/NIS2 or similar frameworks
  • Stakeholder engagement and client-facing delivery

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or CISA would be highly advantageous.
