The Role:
Hiring for a Security Architect at Associate Manager level. This role sits within a leading consulting environment delivering security architecture across high-profile government and critical national infrastructure programmes.
This is a hands-on architecture role focused on designing secure solutions rather than building them, working across complex enterprise and cloud environments. You’ll be shaping security strategy, defining architectures, and influencing delivery across large-scale transformation programmes.
The selected Security Architect will work closely with clients to embed Secure by Design principles, ensuring systems are resilient, compliant, and aligned to business objectives. This is a great opportunity for someone stepping up into a more senior, leadership-oriented architecture role.

What the successful Security Architect can expect from their duties within the role:
- Defining security architectures for complex enterprise and cloud-based systems
- Producing high and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs) aligned to business and security requirements
- Leading architecture reviews and acting as a design authority across programmes
- Conducting threat modelling and identifying risks within system designs
- Providing risk-based security recommendations and mitigation strategies
- Engaging with stakeholders to translate technical security concepts into business outcomes
- Supporting the development of security strategy and long-term roadmaps
The successful Security Architect will have experience in this tech stack:
- Security architecture and solution design across enterprise environments
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Security frameworks (NCSC, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
- Threat modelling methodologies (STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.)
- Secure by Design principles and architecture governance
- Experience working across public sector, defence, or regulated environments
Some additional experience that is highly desirable but not required for this role:
- Experience within consulting or client-facing environments
- Exposure to DevSecOps or modern application security practices
- Knowledge of Zero Trust or identity architecture (IAM/PAM)
- Experience working on large-scale transformation or multi-cloud programmes
