Security Consultant (Healthcare Focus)

Location: London (hybrid)

Salary: Up to £70,000 (depending on experience) + Package

We’re hiring a Security Consultant to join a growing cyber practice delivering secure architecture, risk advisory, and transformation support across complex healthcare-focused programmes.

As a Security Consultant, you will play a key role in designing and advising on secure IT solutions across enterprise-scale environments. You’ll work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify risks, influence solution design, and deliver practical security outcomes across cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design secure architectures for complex IT and digital transformation programmes
• Provide security advisory services across healthcare and wider public sector environments
• Conduct risk assessments and communicate mitigation strategies to stakeholders
• Support compliance initiatives aligned to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
• Identify vulnerabilities within system and solution architectures
• Contribute to threat modelling and secure reference architecture development
• Research and recommend innovative security solutions and technologies
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary technical and business teams

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial cybersecurity consulting or security architecture experience
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance, and risk management
• Experience with security technologies such as PAM, SSO, IDAM, network security, and encryption
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, and solution design methodologies
• Exposure to threat modelling and secure architecture frameworks
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work across multiple projects

Desirable Skills

• Hands-on experience in cloud and/or network security
• Certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, or similar
• Existing UK Security Clearance (SC/DV) or eligibility to obtain clearance
• Passion for improving security outcomes across healthcare and public sector organisations
