Role Context

This is a consulting security role focused on complex engagements across health and public sector environments. The remit sits at consultant level but the delivery exposure is broad, covering security architecture, secure solution design, risk assessment and advisory input into large transformation programmes.

The role is suited to candidates who want to work beyond narrow operational security activity. The core focus is helping shape secure digital, cloud and infrastructure solutions in regulated environments where governance, resilience and stakeholder scrutiny are high. Programmes are typically large, multi supplier and business critical, requiring clear communication, structured thinking and the ability to balance risk, compliance and delivery pace.

The successful individual will contribute to security design decisions, identify vulnerabilities in architecture and translate technical risk into language understood by programme, delivery and business stakeholders. This is a strong fit for candidates with experience in consulting, public sector security, or architecture aligned cyber advisory work who want broader scale and stronger long term progression.

Travel will form part of the role depending on client need, but the opportunity is genuinely UK wide rather than London centric. The hiring focus is on capability, adaptability and credibility in front of clients operating in sensitive and highly governed environments.

Employer Overview

The hiring organisation is a globally recognised consulting and technology business with major reach across government, health and regulated markets. It is known for delivering large transformation programmes that combine advisory, architecture and implementation capability at scale. The environment offers strong brand credibility, access to complex programmes and the backing of a mature internal network across cyber, cloud, data and transformation disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design secure architectures for complex IT and transformation programmes
  • Advise stakeholders on security risk, control design and mitigation strategy
  • Support secure solution development across cloud, infrastructure and enterprise environments
  • Interpret and apply security and regulatory frameworks within client programmes
  • Communicate security design decisions clearly across technical and non technical audiences

Candidate Profile / Technical Skillset

  • Experience in cybersecurity consulting, security architecture or risk advisory delivery
  • Strong grounding in cyber principles, risk management and secure design methods
  • Knowledge of security controls such as PAM, SSO, IDAM, network security and encryption
  • Understanding of threat modelling, reference architecture and broader IT infrastructure
  • Eligibility for SC clearance, sole British nationality, and ideally certifications such as CISSP or SABSA

How to Apply?

Please apply with an up to date CV that clearly demonstrates your alignment to the security architecture, risk advisory and public sector consulting requirements of the role. Relevant experience across regulated environments, secure design and stakeholder engagement should be easy to identify.
