What you’ll do as a Senior C++ Developer

  • Build and evolve performance critical software using modern C++, with a strong focus on reliability and scalability.
  • Develop and debug software on Linux platforms, working across the full build and runtime lifecycle.
  • Play a key role in strengthening and extending secure, mission critical platforms
  • Work closely with other engineers in agile teams, influencing technical decisions and improving quality through collaboration.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including supporting systems deployed in live environments.

About the Candidate

The following experience for a Senior C++ Developer is essential for this role:

  • Professional C++ development, including modern standards and performance focused design
  • Developing and debugging within Linux environments
  • Working on complex, long lived systems where stability and quality matter
  • Agile ways of working and collaborative engineering practices
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues in production or operational systems

Additional experience with networking concepts, concurrency, or scripting (Python/Bash) is beneficial but not required.

  • Must be SC eligible (typically 5+ years UK residency).
