Senior Java Developer

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days on site

Salary: From £50,000

Who you'll be working with:

We’re hiring a Senior Java Developer to join a high-performing team within a global professional services organisation delivering strategy, consulting, technology, and digital transformation solutions.

You’ll work with Java (8–17), Spring Boot, and microservices, helping to build modern, scalable applications across a range of industries.

What you'll have the opportunity to work on:

• Build and scale applications using Java & Spring
• Support microservices architecture and system integration
• Champion TDD, CI/CD, and clean coding standards
• Work in Agile teams and mentor junior developers

What we're looking for from a Senior Java Developer:

• Strong Java (8–17) & Spring experience
• JavaScript knowledge
• Microservices & modern development experience
• Strong communication & mentoring skills
