Senior Product Manager
Senior Product Manager
Level: Senior
Location: Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, London or Bristol (hybrid)
Salary: £57,000 to £72,000 (£81,000 in London)
Industry: Digital Consultancy
Design with empathy. Build with impact. Deliver outcomes that matter.
Our client is a leading UK digital consultancy combining data-informed evidence, human-centred design and modern engineering to solve complex organisational challenges. They work with high-profile clients to modernise services, improve user outcomes and embed lasting product capability.
They are now hiring Senior Product Managers to lead multidisciplinary teams and shape meaningful digital products end to end.
About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will turn client ambition into executable product strategy. You will define the vision, own the roadmap, manage prioritised backlogs and lead delivery teams to create measurable value.
This is a consultancy environment. You will operate at senior stakeholder level, influence direction, and balance commercial realities with user needs. Strong consulting exposure is important. Public sector experience is advantageous, but not essential. Solid user-centred design experience is highly desirable.
You will be expected to lead, coach and elevate others, not simply manage a backlog.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating compelling product visions aligned to client strategy and user needs.
- Translating vision into clear roadmaps and prioritised backlogs.
- Leading multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering and delivery.
- Coaching teams in agile delivery practices such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Engaging senior stakeholders and building alignment across competing priorities.
- Using evidence and measurable outcomes to inform decision-making.
- Protecting delivery teams from unnecessary distractions.
- Running workshops and facilitating decision-making sessions, both remotely and in person.
- Balancing policy, governance and security constraints with user value.
Ideal Background
You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager within a consultancy or complex stakeholder environment.
- Strong grounding in human-centred design and evidence-based product thinking.
- Experience leading specialist teams and building capability in others.
- Confidence operating at senior stakeholder level.
- The ability to build consensus, and make clear decisions when required.
- Strong workshop facilitation and communication skills.
- A track record of delivering impact in agile environments.
Public sector experience will strengthen your application, but it is not mandatory. What matters most is your ability to lead in complex, outcome-driven settings.
Working Pattern & Location
You will be aligned to one of the UK offices in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, London or Bristol.
What You’ll Receive
- Competitive salary (£57,000k–£72,000, up to £81,000 in London).
- 6% employer pension contribution with 2% employee contribution.
- 25 days holiday plus UK public holidays.
- Private healthcare and dental options.
- Critical illness and life assurance cover.
- Flexible benefits scheme including additional pension, extra leave and wellbeing contributions.
- Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme.
- Cycle-to-work scheme.
- Volunteer days.
- Season ticket loans.
Who Should Apply
This role suits experienced Product Managers who want to:
- Operate at strategic level while staying close to delivery.
- Influence client organisations, not just internal teams.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams solving complex service challenges.
- Build product capability that lasts beyond a single engagement.
If you are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders and driving measurable outcomes, this is a strong next step.
Apply to discuss in confidence.
