Senior Sales Manager – Insurance (Consulting - Cloud/Infrastructure)
London (Hybrid)
Up to £120,000 base + Bonus
A global technology consultancy at the forefront of cloud and digital transformation is looking for a senior, new business-focused sales executive to drive growth across the UK Insurance market.
This is a true hunter role; owning the full sales lifecycle, from origination through to close, targeting large, complex cloud infrastructure services deals. You’ll operate with real autonomy, engage at C-suite level, and play a visible role in scaling a high-growth insurance practice.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven new business sales track record within the UK Insurance market
- Proven track record of consulting sales between £5-10+ million P/Y
- Experience closing large, complex enterprise deals (not just account farming)
- Strong background selling cloud infrastructure or enterprise technology services
- Comfortable engaging and influencing senior decision-makers
- Deep understanding of insurance clients, buying cycles & market dynamics
- Strong commercial acumen (deal structuring, pricing, negotiation)
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment while owning outcomes
- Disciplined, driven, and focused on closing revenue
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and deliver against a significant annual sales target (>5m P/Y)
- Build and maintain a high-quality, revenue-aligned pipeline
- Originate new opportunities across UK insurance clients and net-new logos
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles end-to-end
- Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs & C-suite
- Shape deals around client drivers, risk, and commercial outcomes
- Define deal strategy, structure, and pricing approach
- Work closely with solution, delivery, legal & commercial teams
- Navigate internal governance to drive deals forward at pace
- Contribute to account growth strategy and long-term client value
