Senior UX Designer (Government Digital Services)
London – Hybrid
£65,000 – £72,000 + package

We’re supporting a leading cyber security consultancy delivering critical government digital services across high-impact national programmes. They’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to help shape user-centred experiences across complex, large-scale platforms.
This role sits within a mature UCD environment, working on services used at national scale.
The Role
- Design intuitive, accessible digital services for government users, across complex systems and journeys
- Apply user-centred design principles across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases
- Lead UX activity across engagements, owning workstreams and influencing stakeholders
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (product, engineering, research)
- Facilitate workshops and help shape user journeys across diverse audience groups
- Support and mentor junior designers where required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working on government digital services (GDS environment preferred)
- Strong end-to-end UX capability (research, interaction design, prototyping, delivery)
- Experience working across complex, multi-user or high-assurance systems
- Ability to translate user needs and business goals into clear, usable designs
- Comfortable working with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
- Exposure to AI or emerging tech is a bonus, not a requirement
Package
- £65,000 – £72,000 base
- 10% bonus
- 9% pension
