Salary: Circa £55,000 (DOE)
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 2-4 days per week on-site
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship required
The Opportunity:
Join the cutting-edge DragonFire programme as a Systems Engineer helping develop the UK's first Laser Directed Energy Weapon (LDEW) air defence system. Contribute across requirements, design, performance analysis, and certification in a dynamic and impactful environment.
What You Will Do as a Systems Engineer:

• Analyse system requirements and functional interface definitions
• Generate detailed functional design documentation to articulate system needs
• Conduct design trade studies and detailed impact assessments
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure design coherence
• Support change management and point of embodiment processes
• Assist in developing and maintaining project management plans
