Field Engineer Resources

We are looking to partner and provide resources for Hitachi Vantara and will be looking for engineers around the UK for scheduled work on a ad-hoc basis. We are looking for engineering staff that have the Hitachi Vantara experience. Below are a the 3 levels of resource that we will be looking for -

Intermediate Field Engineer -

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Storage field based or equivalent role
• Fluent knowledge of English is required along with local support language
• Relevant vendor or industry certifications (Desired)
• Self motivated in resolving technical problems, and improving technical knowledge.
• Structured and logical problem determination skills
• Certified for Hitachi Storage Foundations Modular (Desired)
• Has received Hitachi or equivalent training to support RISP CE4 products and activities

Senior Field Engineer -

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in an Storage field based or equivalent role
• Fluent knowledge of English is required along with local support language
• Certified to ITIL Foundation level. (Desired)
• Relevant vendor or industry certifications (Desired)
• Self motivated in resolving technical problems, and improving technical knowledge.
• Structured and logical problem determination skills
• Good understanding of working in NAS, SAN environments
• Certified for Hitachi Storage Foundations Modular (Desired)
• Certified for Hitachi Storage Foundations Enterprise (Desired)
• Has received Hitachi or equivalent training to support RISP CE3 products and activities

Principle Field Engineer -

• Minimum of 5 years experience in an Storage field based or equivalent role
• Fluent knowledge of English is required along with local support language
• Certified to ITIL Foundation level. (Desired)
• Relevant vendor or industry certifications (Desired)
• Self motivated in resolving technical problems, and improving technical knowledge.
• Structured and logical problem determination skills
• Strong skills in NAS, SAN, Brocade, Cisco and Hitachi technologies.
• Certified for Hitachi Storage Foundations Modular (Desired)
• Certified for Hitachi Storage Foundations Enterprise (Desired)
• Has received Hitachi or equivalent training to support RISP CE2 products and activities
