FoxPro Developer

We are seeking an experienced FoxPro Developer to join our Client and play a key role in supporting and transitioning their legacy systems to a modern platform. This is a unique opportunity for someone with deep knowledge of FoxPro who enjoys solving business challenges, supporting existing applications, and helping shape the next generation of systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support an existing FoxPro application, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Work closely with business users to understand workflows and processes.
• Assist in re-writing and porting functionality from the legacy application into the new platform.
• Implement new features and enhancements as requested during the migration process.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting until the legacy system is fully retired.
• Collaborate with the wider technical team to ensure a seamless migration and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Visual FoxPro.
• Solid understanding of business process workflows and application logic.
• Experience in application migration or system modernization projects.
• Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with newer platforms (e.g., .NET, SQL, or cloud technologies) is a plus but not required.
