MAC Support (1st and 2nd Line)
We’re working exclusively with a growing, forward-thinking organisation that is seeking a talented 1st & 2nd Line IT Support Specialist with good experience in the Apple Mac ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is keen to develop their skills within a supportive technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to Clients, with a strong emphasis on macOS devices.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents via phone, email, remote tools, and face-to-face.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Apple Mac hardware and software.
- Support iOS devices, peripheral equipment, and related applications.
- Assist with user account administration, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, shared drives).
- Document technical processes, resolutions, and known issues.
- Contribute to ongoing IT projects, upgrades, and process improvements.
Require Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience supporting macOS in a business environment.
- Familiarity with Apple MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle).
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively..
- Apple certifications would be ideal
