Programme Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to lead large-scale, high-value programme delivery across major NHS and UK Government environments. This role combines both strategic leadership and hands-on programme ownership, from bid stage through mobilisation and full delivery.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Leading end-to-end bid and tender processes for significant public-sector transformation programmes.
• Owning major programme delivery from award through execution, ensuring high-quality governance, commercial control, and operational success.
• Managing complex, multi-workstream programmes with a Total Contract Value between £40m and £100m.
• Working closely with senior stakeholders across the NHS, Government departments, and partner organisations.
• Driving PMO standards, risk management, resource planning, and benefit realisation.
• Ensuring delivery aligns to contractual, regulatory, and compliance requirements—particularly in sensitive or secure environments.

About You

• Proven track record leading large, complex, multi-year programmes within NHS or UK Government.
• Strong experience in competitive tendering, bids, commercial negotiation, and programme mobilisation.
• Comfortable operating at executive level with strong governance, financial oversight, and delivery assurance.
• Security Clearance (SC) is highly desirable; candidates must be eligible for clearance as a minimum.
• Excellent communicator, confident leader, and strategic thinker with hands-on delivery capability.

Contract Details

• Initial contract: 3–6 months, with strong likelihood of extension
• Start: ASAP
• Location: UK-based, hybrid with some on-site client engagement
• Day rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
