Senior Microsoft Consultant (M365, SharePoint, Azure)

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for cloud solutions and driving digital transformation?

We’re looking for a Senior Microsoft Consultant to join our Client and lead the way in implementing Microsoft 365 (M365) and SharePoint solutions, as well as migrating on-premise storage to cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

As a Senior Microsoft Consultant, you'll work closely with our Client (a no-for-profit Charitable trust) to design, implement, and optimise their IT systems, ensuring a seamless transition to cloud environments while enhancing collaboration, data management, and productivity with M365 and SharePoint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead M365 & SharePoint implementation projects, driving the integration of these technologies into business operations.
  • Manage migration projects from on-premise storage systems to Azure Cloud, ensuring a smooth, efficient transition with minimal disruption.
  • Provide expert advice on cloud architecture, security, scalability, and performance optimization in Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear project plans.
  • Ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Offer guidance on best practices for leveraging M365, SharePoint, and Azure to improve organizational processes and workflows.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud technology, M365, and SharePoint developments to advise clients on future-proof solutions.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale M365 and SharePoint implementations.
  • Extensive experience migrating from on-prem storage to cloud environments, particularly Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Azure architecture, security, and deployment.
  • Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or equivalent.
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex IT challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint and Azure automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams integration and governance.
  • Previous experience in a consultancy or client-facing role.
