Computer Aided Design Designer
Overview:
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‐paced, occasionally ambiguous environment and can demonstrate sound judgment, clear communication, and effective negotiation skills. You’ll be part of a creative and efficient team focused on telecoms design optimization and vendor coordination.
The ideal candidate is proficient with BIM360 and Autodesk tools, capable of working confidently in both 2D and 3D environments. Familiarity with blocks, elements, families, and template creation is essential. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, applying agility and strong multi‐tasking skills to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and modify complex 3D Revit models for telecom infrastructure projects
• Develop and maintain Revit families for telecom equipment and systems
• Produce accurate 2D drawings and documentation derived from 3D models
• Implement and uphold BIM standards and best practices across all projects
• Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to integrate telecom designs with other building systems
• Perform clash detection and coordinate resolutions within Revit models
• Create and manage schedules and quantity take‐offs for telecom components
• Use Dynamo to automate repetitive tasks and develop custom workflows
• Manage and update project templates and content libraries
• Coordinate with external stakeholders using BIM 360 for model sharing and collaboration
• Produce high‐quality renderings and visualizations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex modeling issues
• Assist in developing custom Revit add‐ins or scripts to improve productivity
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to technical problem‐solving
• Support the development of best practices and standards for telecom design
• Contribute to internal knowledge‐sharing sessions and training initiatives
