Supply Chain Planner
Overview:
Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Location: Romsey, UK
Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate closely with Core Prourement team and other internal functions (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Trade, and Planning) to support:
o Continuity of material supply for production operations
o Timely availability of R&D materials to support engineering and development activities
• Act as a primary point of contact between internal teams, Expeditors, and external suppliers
• Ensure all procured goods
• Proactively communicate with internal requestors
• Support and maintain existing key supplier relationships, ensuring
• Manage new supplier onboarding via P2P processes, including
• Assist with material stock monitoring and auditing, supporting accuracy of inventory records and identifying discrepancies or risks to supply
• Collaborate closely with the Senior TPM and cross functional stakeholders to support:
Cover & Extended Responsibilities
• Provide cover for FTE’s responsibilities as required, including:

Continuous Improvement & Quality
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to:
• Support quality management by ensuring adherence to internal processes, documentation standards, and compliance requirements across procurement, logistics, and supplier interactions
Additional comments:
• This is a hands on, onsite administrative support role based in Romsey, with onsite presence expected as the day to day work is operational and varies.
We are looking for candidates who:
• Have administrative experience (this is a support role)
• Are comfortable processing Word documents and uploading information into MyOrder
• Can proactively chase, follow up, and help unblock issues
• Are organised, detail oriented, and adaptable to changing daily priorities
• Are happy working onsite 5 days per week (some flexibility may be possible once routines are established)
