JOB DETAILSTo carry out service visits to reported calls throughout the companies' customer base within a specified region. The successful candidate will establish and promote the attributes of a professional service support operation and adapt and develop service needs in line with changes in manufacturer products and functionality.
Respond to customer service requests for the repair of business equipment and production printersCarry out fault diagnosis and establish effective repairs through adjustment cleaning or replacement of spare partsCarry out preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations from service managementWork with colleagues to help overcome new or unusual faultsInvoke the call escalation process in a timely mannerInform the customer on the work carried out and gain acceptance to the machines condition and performance following the service work you have completedCarry out the installation of equipment sold by the company and ensure the machine performs to the customers satisfactionA typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break.
This role is fully remote and home-based. Attendance at our offices is required periodically for team meetings and training. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDExperience of fixing production printers and digital presses - such as Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Xerox, Sharp, Canon.
Experience in the office equipment industryTechnical skills, with a strong electronic and mechanical backgroundStrong IT knowledge with the ability to network devices and to set up scanning functionsThe ability to provide first class customer service with previous customer facing experience. ENHANCED DBS:This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
