In this role, you'll work closely with engineering teams, helping manage design changes, maintain configuration records, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure engineering information remains accurate, traceable, and up to date.You don't need previous Configuration Management experience. We're looking for someone with a technical background, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring things are done correctly.You might currently be a:Project EngineerSystems EngineerQuality EngineerTechnical CoordinatorDesign EngineerEngineer with 2-4 years' experienceKey Responsibilities: Supporting the implementation and delivery of Configuration Management processes across the projectActing as a key point of contact for engineering teams on configuration and change control activitiesCoordinating engineering changes and ensuring actions are followed through to completionWorking closely with stakeholders to resolve technical queries and open pointsMaintaining configuration records and supporting configuration assurance activitiesMonitoring and steering configuration-related actions to ensure project requirements are metSupporting design handover activities and ensuring configuration control is maintained throughout the project lifecycleContributing to the development and improvement of efficient, data-driven ways of working.QualificationsRequired Skills: 2-4 years' experience within an engineering, technical or project-based environmentDegree in Engineering, Science or a related technical disciplineStrong organisational and coordination skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple activities and priorities simultaneouslyMethodical and process-oriented mindsetStrong attention to detailRequired Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalentmilitary experience.Desirable Skills: Experience within nuclear, defence, aerospace, energy, rail or other regulated industriesFamiliarity with engineering change processesExperience supporting engineering projects or design teamsKnowledge of quality management or configuration control principlesUnderstanding of engineering documentation and design processesAdditional InformationWhy join us?
