This is a hands on role with real exposure across projects, suppliers and operational teams.Candidates with experience in financial services, banking, insurance or other regulated environments will bring valuable perspective to how we manage data risk at scale.Key Responsibilities:Support the ongoing delivery and evolution of the Group’s data protection compliance frameworkAct as a trusted contact for internal stakeholders, translating data protection requirements into clear, practical guidanceManage and respond to data subject rights requests including DSARs, erasure, objection and restrictionSupport the investigation, management and reporting of personal data breaches, working cross functionallyMaintain core governance documentation including RoPAs, DPIAs and LIAsReview and advise on data protection clauses across contracts, supplier agreements and DPAsSupport privacy by design across new projects, systems and business initiativesDeliver and support training and awareness across the GroupTrack regulatory developments and contribute to policy updates and continuous improvementProvide day to day operational support to the Data Protection teamQualificationsEssentialExperience in data protection, privacy, compliance or risk or governance, ideally within a regulated or financial environmentStrong working knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and PECRConfident interpreting regulation and applying it in a commercial, business focused wayHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environmentStrong attention to detail with high professional standardsConfident communicator, able to build relationships across all levelsProactive, solutions focused and keen to developNice to HaveBackground in financial services, fintech, banking, insurance or other regulated sectorsRelevant qualifications such as CIPP or CIPM or BCSExperience in retail, e commerce or large scale consumer businessesFamiliarity with ISO 27001 or wider data governance frameworksInterest or exposure to emerging tech such as AI, biometrics or advanced analyticsAdditional InformationAdditional Information Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:Frasers Champion - Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
