Environments & Global Batch Manager, Assistant Vice President

Role OverviewThe E2E Environments & Global Batch Manager is responsible for defining, implementing, and governing end-to-end environment and batch management capabilities across complex client implementation programs.This role serves as the primary point of coordination across Product, Technology, Operations, Delivery, and Client teams to ensure environment readiness, batch execution, testing support, conversion planning, operational readiness, and go-live success. The position combines strategic planning, governance leadership, technical coordination, and operational oversight to support successful implementation outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy, Planning & GovernanceDefine and drive the end-to-end environment and batch strategy aligned to program objectives and implementation requirementsDevelop and maintain readiness roadmaps, project plans, governance frameworks, stakeholder matrices, and dependency modelsEstablish standards, controls, and governance processes supporting testing, conversion, deployment, and operational readinessIdentify opportunities to standardize, optimize, and automate environment and batch capabilities across implementationsEnvironment Management & Testing ReadinessLead environment planning, configuration, integration, and readiness activities across implementation and testing phasesManage environment inventories, configuration standards, dependencies, support ownership, and connectivity requirementsCoordinate environment readiness for feature testing, integration testing, BUAT, CUAT, conversion activities, client onboarding, and vendor integrationsDrive reference data setup, fund onboarding, and platform configuration activities across environments and integrated systemsBatch Management & Operational ReadinessOwn the development and maintenance of end-to-end batch architecture, visualization models, and operational designsDefine batch processing requirements, schedules, dependencies, service levels, and support modelsStandardize batch documentation and drive alignment across technology, product, and operational teamsEnsure operational readiness through monitoring, support frameworks, reporting, and escalation processesConversion, Reporting & OptimizationDefine and coordinate conversion strategies, data seeding activities, and overall data readiness planningSupport end-to-end testing, conversion events, and production readiness activitiesOversee batch reporting, performance monitoring, issue management, and root cause analysisDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational stability, performance optimization, cycle-time reduction, and automation opportunitiesStakeholder LeadershipServe as the central coordination point across Product, Technology, Operations, Delivery, Release Management, and Client stakeholdersLead environment and batch governance forums, review sessions, and readiness assessmentsCommunicate program status, risks, dependencies, environment readiness, and batch performance to leadership and client stakeholdersFacilitate cross-functional decision making and issue resolution throughout the implementation lifecycleQualificationsRequiredExperience in environment management, batch operations, implementation delivery, platform operations, or enterprise technology programsStrong understanding of testing lifecycles, release management, data conversion, operational readiness, and batch processing frameworksProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, systems, and dependenciesStrong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skillsPreferredExperience supporting large-scale financial services, asset management, or platform transformation programsExperience with BUAT, CUAT, DITL, conversion, and go-live activitiesKnowledge of enterprise integrations, operational support models, performance analytics, and process automationSuccess MeasuresSuccess in this role is demonstrated through:Environment readiness across all implementation phasesStable and efficient batch processing operationsSuccessful testing, conversion, and go-live outcomesEffective stakeholder alignment and governanceContinuous improvement of platform performance, operational readiness, and implementation efficiencyAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
