You will play a key role in shaping system capability, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, and supporting successful delivery and certification of complex technologies.Key Responsibilities Depending on project needs, you will contribute across several core systems engineering activities, including:Translating customer requirements into structured system, subsystem, and software requirementsSupporting system design activities, including trade studies and technical evaluationsContributing to certification and assurance activities, including evidence gathering and technical investigationsSupporting programme delivery through stakeholder engagement and coordinationDriving engineering change management and maintaining configuration controlCommunicating complex system architectures and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesWorking collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure system integrity and performanceContributing to the ongoing development of systems engineering tools, processes, and capabilitySkills & ExperienceProven experience in systems engineering, ideally within a complex or safety-critical environmentStrong background in requirements management and derivationFamiliarity with industry-standard tools such as DOORS, DOORS NG, or RhapsodyAbility to conduct system studies and trade-off analysisExperience managing engineering change and configuration processesStrong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearlyExperience engaging with and managing multiple stakeholdersAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teamsExperience in complex product or system development environments is advantageousWhat's on OfferPerformance-related bonus (up to 2,500)Pension contributions up to 14%Paid overtime opportunitiesFlexible leave, including up to 15 additional daysFlexible and hybrid working optionsEnhanced family leave (including maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave)Healthcare cash plan for everyday medical costsExcellent on-site facilities, including subsidised meals and free parkingSecurity & Eligibility Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be eligible for UK security screening (BPSS as a minimum).
