Working closely with technical teams, service management, and key stakeholders, you’ll help ensure IT assets are well managed, visible, and delivering value throughout their lifecycle. The team values collaboration, continuous improvement, and attention to detail.Location: Hybrid - Hatfield, Milton Keynes, NottinghamMust be SC Cleared, or willingness to undertake What you’ll doMonitor the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware and software assets, aligned to SACM best practices.Help ensure the CMDB is accurate, up-to-date and in compliance with organisational standards & regulatory requirementsPerform asset tracking, inventory checks, and compliance reviewsProduce regular reports on asset utilisation, cost, and complianceIdentify and support cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunitiesAssist stakeholders with asset-related queries and support requestsSupport internal and external audits and compliance activitiesAssist with testing of ITAM tooling integrations and CMDB-related processesWhat you’ll needAbility to obtain or hold UK Government Security Clearance2+ years’ experience in IT Asset Management or a related roleExperience with ITSM management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Remedy, Snow/Flexara)Good understanding of SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management), IT asset lifecycle management (ITAM) and inventory best practicesAwareness of software licensing models (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle)Strong analytical and reporting skillsAdvanced Excel skills; Power BI experience desirableExcellent communication skills and strong attention to detailDesirable: Managed service experience, exposure to process improvement, ITIL/CMDB knowledge, and relevant certifications (ITIL 4, ServiceNow).This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their SACM expertise in a structured, supportive environment while making a tangible impact on compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency.About usComputacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 21,000 employees worldwide.
