Join us as an Infrastructure Test Engineer at our Corsham customer location, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.The RoleAs a Infrastructure Test Engineer, you will play a key role in assuring the performance, reliability and readiness of critical Defence IT infrastructure. Working within a highly technical test team, you'll develop automated testing capabilities that ensure complex systems are deployed and integrated correctly before entering operational service.Day-to-day, you'll design and develop Python-based automated test frameworks, execute system and integration testing activities, work closely with engineering teams to create new automated test solutions, and provide evidence-based assurance to the customer.Your responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using PythonConverting manual test activities into efficient automated test scriptsSupporting system integration, functional and regression testing activitiesProducing test plans, test reports, defect documentation and evidence packsWorking closely with engineering teams to validate infrastructure deploymentsPresenting test results, findings and recommendations to project stakeholdersEssential experience of the Infrastructure Test Engineer: Significant experience developing automated testing solutions using PythonExperience building and maintaining automated test frameworksExperience with BDD methodologies and Gherkin-based test developmentKnowledge of scripting technologies including PowerShell and BashExperience using CI/CD tools such as JenkinsExperience working within secure, regulated or mission-critical environmentsEssential qualifications for the Infrastructure Test Engineer:Demonstrable professional experience in Automation Testing, Integration Testing or Systems TestingEligibility to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC)Relevant technical qualifications or equivalent industry experienceWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.This role is 37 hours per week based at our Corsham site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
