Our client provides a cloud-hosted endoscopy management system (EMS) used across the NHS and private healthcare sector, and this is a fantastic opportunity to work on mission-critical clinical integrations from the comfort of your own home.This is a remote, permanent role offering 50 - 60,000, working within a small, close-knit technical team where you'll have real influence over the products and processes you help build.About the RoleOur client is looking for a developer (5+ years' experience) to take ownership of the development, support and maintenance of messaging interfaces between customers' clinical systems and their cloud-hosted EMS platform. While healthcare messaging and integration experience is a real advantage, this is fundamentally a strong back-end developer role – if you have the technical skills below, you'll quickly pick up the healthcare domain knowledge.Reporting to the Head of Development, you'll be involved in the full lifecycle of feature design and delivery, from requirements gathering through to implementation, testing and production support. You'll also play a key role in driving good engineering practice across the team – championing design patterns, secure coding, and thorough testing – and will mentor colleagues through code reviews and pair programming.
