Role Overview:As a Paid Media Director, you will lead the delivery and growth of client accounts across a full spectrum of digital media channels, including Display, PPC, Social, and Content, with opportunities to expand into traditional media and OOH. Acting as the senior point of contact for clients and internal teams, you will ensure campaigns are executed effectively, on time, and within budget, while driving strategic direction across channels, measurement, and technology. You will play a key role in advising clients on media strategy, as well as mentoring and developing your team to deliver high-quality service and performance. With strong commercial awareness, you will contribute to resource planning and performance reporting, working closely with senior leadership. Responsibilties:Build strong client relationships, developing a deep understanding of business objectives, digital needs, and prioritiesDefine and present clear performance and commercial strategies for client accountsLead from the front on key accounts and pitches, troubleshooting delivery challenges and ensuring high-quality executionManage and develop Account Managers, supporting both individual growth and team performanceEnsure all campaign activity meets or exceeds client performance expectations and aligns with KPIsManage budgets in line with strategy, ensuring accurate forecasting and monthly spend controlCollaborate with internal teams (SEO, Creative, Marketplaces, Data & Analytics) to deliver integrated client strategiesImplement and oversee measurement frameworks with analytics teams to evaluate campaign effectivenessMaintain high standards of delivery through effective briefing, task management, and quality control of team outputsContribute to departmental development, including recruitment, forecasting, training, new business, supplier relationships, and adoption of technology and automationAbout the Candidate:Degree with a minimum 2:1 classification (ideally in science, business, or marketing) 4–5+ years’ experience managing paid media accounts, delivering against performance-driven client goals across multiple channelsStrong understanding of the wider digital media landscape, with experience compiling cross-channel media plansProven ability to influence clients and build strong, long-term relationships through effective communication and presentation skillsStrategic and creative mindset, with a focus on improving performance and identifying new opportunitiesExperience using AI to enhance workflows, efficiency, and speed of deliveryStrong analytical and numerical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities and ability to translate data into actionable insightsDemonstrated ability to manage and coach teams, driving performance and fostering developmentHighly organised with strong attention to detail, able to prioritise effectively in fast-paced environmentsProactive and curious, with the ability to research industry trends and identify opportunities for clients and the businessStrong interpersonal skills, with professionalism, diplomacy, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levelsThe following are advantageous: experience across PPC, Paid Social and Display, ad server tracking, Google Analytics, and a commercial/entrepreneurial mindset with proven upsell capabilityReply is an Equal Opportunities Employer and committed to embracing diversity in the workplace.
