Create UX flows, wireframes and prototypes to explore and communicate design ideas. Contribute to and evolve our design systems, patterns and accessibility standardsConduct user research to inform and validate design decisions, including usability testing, Conduct interviews, surveys and observational studies, and synthesise findings into actionable design directionProduce high-fidelity designs and concepts using the Digital Design System for mobile and web, with consideration for responsive design and native OS capabilities across iOS and AndroidDrive adoption of AI tools across the design and research practice, identifying where they improve quality, speed or outcomes Design for Greggs' AI-powered features, shaping how AI capabilities are introduced into customer experiences such as loyalty, personalisation and growth, and into colleague-facing operations Attend workshops and sessions to help stakeholders better understand the value of Product UX and Design Presenting designs with stakeholders and managing expectations Work closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are practical, scalable and delivered to a high standard Partner with business subject matter experts to ground design in operational reality, particularly when designing for shop colleaguesClearly communicate and defend design decisions with evidence and product thinkingPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and accessible wayAbout youYou will fit right into this role if you: Bring solid hands-on experience as a Product Designer (or similar end-to-end design role) working on customer or colleague-facing digital productsExperience working in an embedded product team and close cross functional collaboration with a variety of stakeholdersAre comfortable owning design from problem framing through to delivery, working autonomously without needing day-to-day oversightHave a strong grounding in UX research and integrate research practice into your design work, conducting research yourself rather than relying on a separate workstreamHave hands-on experience with AI in your design or research work, even if you are still building your craft in this spaceAre curious about how AI is changing design and instinctively experiment with new tools as they emergeAre confident using Figma to a high standard, including Auto Layout, Components and Design SystemsCommunicate and defend design decisions clearly, with evidence and product thinking, to a range of different audiences Have experience presenting research, design and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and accessible wayHave proven experience building and managing stakeholder relationships and influencing decisions whilst bringing different perspectives togetherHave a strong understanding of accessibility standards and apply them as a defaultAre familiar with working in an Agile product environment, embedded within a squadCare about the craft of design while staying grounded in product outcomesThrive in a fast-paced environment where customer experience and operational realities both matterEnjoy being part of a collaborative, supportive squad, celebrating wins and sharing responsibility for outcomesValue and contribute to an inclusive culture, where different perspectives are welcomed and help everyone do better workWhilst not essential, it would be great if you also have:Experience designing AI-powered customer features (personalisation, recommendations, conversational interfaces or similar)Experience using Claude, Claude Design, ChatGPT, Figma AI or similar AI tools in design and research workflowsExperience in retail, loyalty, hospitality, QSR, or other high-volume consumer productsExperience of working for a large enterprise Experience designing for both customer-facing and colleague-facing toolingFamiliarity with mobile-first design across iOS and Android, including platform-native patterns About GreggsHere at Greggs, we love what we do, and we have fun!
