This is a client-facing role at the intersection of applied AI, financial crime expertise, and enterprise sales. The role involves running demos, executing proofs of concept on client data, and translating complex financial crime detection challenges into tailored solutions built on the SymphonyAI platform.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Pre-Sales Engagement (approx. 40%)Lead the technical workstream of sales opportunities, partnering with Account Executives to develop and present technical proposalsDesign and deliver customized product demonstrations tailored to prospects’ financial crime detection requirementsBuild relationships with technical stakeholders at client organizations, including AML and fraud leads, data science teams, and compliance technologistsProof of Concept and Proof of Value Execution (approx. 30%)Scope, plan, and execute POCs and POVs on prospect data; define success criteria and manage risksConfigure, tune, and apply machine learning models (SymphonyAI and third-party) to client transaction, customer, and behavioral data to demonstrate detection performanceAnalyze complex, regulated datasets to identify suspicious patterns/typologies and translate findings into clear business outcomesProduct and Domain Feedback (approx. 10%)Partner with Product Management to translate customer requirements and field observations into product improvementsStay current on SymphonyAI roadmap, new releases, and the financial crime regulatory landscapeContinuous Learning and Enablement (approx. 20%)Maintain deep expertise in SymphonyAI products, the financial crime domain, and adjacent AI/cloud technologiesSupport enablement of sales and pre-sales teams on technical positioning and competitive differentiationRequired Skills & Qualifications:8–12 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, technical consulting, or a closely related client-facing technical roleExcellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with credibility to engage senior business and technical audiencesHands-on experience applying machine learning to real-world business problems, including model selection, configuration, tuning, and evaluationStrong Python and SQL skills, with the ability to work confidently in notebooks and large datasets during POC/POV engagementsComfort with data wrangling, mapping, and preparation for analysis in a financial services or banking contextPreferred Skills & Qualifications:Track record supporting and closing complex enterprise software deals with financial services clientsExperience in financial crime domains (AML, transaction monitoring, sanctions, fraud, KYC), or strong adjacent regulated domain experience with high learning agilityUnderstanding of model governance, validation, and regulatory expectations in a financial crime setting (e.g., OCC 2011-12, SR 11-7, EBA model risk guidance)Familiarity with AI agents, generative AI, and their application to operational efficiency in financial servicesDiversity & Inclusion Statement:We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.About UsSymphonyAI is building the leading enterprise AI SaaS company for digital transformation across the most critical and resilient growth industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, financial crime prevention, manufacturing, media, and IT service management.
