Senior Project / Workflow Analyst, BelfastJoin a leading financial services company and work across business functions to manage transformational, technology and strategic initiatives. You will conduct process mapping and work with development and technology teams to identify solutions which lead to workflow improvements and change.You’ll support the analysis, documentation and delivery of change within the organisation. That means mapping current and future state processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and helping translate business needs into practical delivery outcomes.Role:Day to day, you will:Map current/future state processes, including handoffs, decision points and exceptionsElicit and document requirements through workshops, interviews and process reviewIdentifying and documenting risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating where required and supporting resolution through clear analysis and stakeholder engagementProduce process maps, requirements docs, user stories and acceptance criteriaRun gap analysis and support solution shaping across teamsSupport test preparation, defect triage and implementation readiness. More details are available in the job description.Requirements:We are looking for someone who is a strong and capable analyst, a person who is curious and willing to ask the right questions and even counter the response. Experience in business process improvement, operational change or digital transformationStrong process mapping and requirements documentation skillsYou don’t need to offer strong workflow orchestration or usage of Camunda or other RPA toolsSolid analytical ability — gap analysis, future state designExperience in structured change/delivery environments (Agile, Jira, Confluence a bonus)Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills in a fast-paced environmentIt is advantageous if you offer:Awareness of workflow orchestration, case management, RPA or process automation tools such as CamundaExperience supporting the review of existing business processes to identify pain points and define improvement areasExperience producing process maps or workflow diagrams using recognised modelling techniques such as BPMN would be advantageousAbility to engage effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements, work through ambiguity and support shared understanding of business needsExperience supporting operational transformation or customer journey improvement initiativesA general understanding of the Financial Services sector and technology enabled change.Next:Contact Abacus for more information or share your CV and we will respond.Location Belfast, Northern Ireland Salary Not disclosed Job Type Permanent Date Posted 04 August, 2026
