Our people work on market-leading matters that driveinnovation, growth, and transformation around the world.For AshurstPerkins Coie, innovation is our tradition.What makes Ashurst Perkins Coie a great place to work Flexible work optionsHealth and wellbeing benefits, gym membership, and discountedcorporate health plansCareer advancement - client secondment opportunities, globalopportunities, and award-winning Learning & Development programsThe Opportunity:Working as a Senior Technical Test Engineer primarily within an ITproduct team or on business change projects as part of a team, toensure the quality and functionality of products, support changeprojects with delivery of testing deliverables and co-ordinatingtesters and being able to purposely design appropriate testingstrategies and frameworks.Key responsibilities of the role include:Work with an established team of Testers, Developers and ProductManagers within a Product Team or supporting business and IT change projects Deliver testing deliverables on change projects using testingmethods and practices Co-ordinate testing activities and less experienced testers,whilst being able to manage up Adhere to established testing processes throughout the variousphases of a Waterfall project Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, dailystandups and retrospectives Analyse testing inputs, such as business and technical requirements Prepare detailed test conditions and test scripts Execute test scripts, accurately recording all test results This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Glasgow officewith hybrid working.About you:The successful candidate will have:Certifications such as ISTQB accreditation, Agile, DevOps etc.?TOSCA Certifications Strong manual testing skills and experience Ability to work within cross-functional product teams Solid understanding and experience with both Agile and Waterfallproject methodologies Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Zephyr, JIRA)?Understanding of risk-based testing practices to focus efforts oncritical areas Proven experience in managing automation for testing functions/portfolio.?Expertise in automating complex, multi-platform distributed applications.?Excellent knowledge of market standard automation & CICD tools( Selenium, Tosca, Playwright, Jenkins, GitHub , Maven etc.)?Very good knowledge of AI & Cloud based technologies (Azure,AWS , GitHub Co-Pilot etc.) to implement as neededMore information can be found in the job description attached tothe role on our careers site Careers | Ashurst Perkins Coie#LI-HYBRID #LI-GD1
