Take business requirements and translate into software - functional and non-functional aspects Key Responsibilities: Full software development lifecycle design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software Write clean, efficient, easy to understand, tested code Develop necessary artefacts - models, documentation, workflow diagrams Maintain existing products while working on new products Create and maintain CI / CD pipeline Regular code reviews for junior team members Design database architecture Develop and maintain testing framework, process and tools Key Skills: Experience working in an agile/TDD environment Experience in object-oriented programming and SOLID principles Experience in designing, building and testing Java applications Experience with containers and deployment (Dockers / Kubernetes as an example) Java – good level implementation skill with Java 8 and above Spring – good-level implementation skills with the Core Spring Framework , Spring Boot.Database technologies - Postgres, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra Continuous integration / development / deployment pipelines Testing frameworks - Automation of testing, TDD/BDD Source control tools - GIT Build tools – Gradle, Maven Message bus technologies - AMQ, SonicMQ, Kafka Proactive, problem-solver, self-driven Our BenefitsIn addition to all of this, we offer the following 'core' benefits: 25 days annual leave (with option to buy up to 5 days) 3 discretionary days over Christmas 2 paid charity days, where you get paid to help the community (as a business we do a lot of charity work) Pension Life assurance scheme (4*Salary) Share options scheme Private Medical Insurance Dental CoverERG HoursWomen in technology:We are very supportive of women in Technology and has been a founding signature for the Tech Talent Charter.
