The role includes a mix of day-to-day application supportand development, and you will be encouraged to look for opportunitiesto automate and reduce the support overhead.Key responsibilities of the role include:Providing application support for our key platforms and relatedbusiness systems, including triaging incidents and service requests,investigating issues, and escalating complex items with clear context.Monitoring application performance, integration health, dataquality and recurring issues, using logs, alerts and user feedbackto support troubleshooting and identify improvement opportunities.Designing, developing and implementing custom applications usingPower Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.Working closely with product managers, designers and stakeholdersto translate requirements into technical solutions, and contributingto user documentation, training sessions and knowledge sharing.Improving and maintaining solutions so they are scalable,maintainable and deployable, applying good engineering practicesincluding testing, documentation and code reviews.This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office withhybrid working.More information can be found in the job description attached to therole on our careers siteAbout you:The successful candidate will have:A background in Software Engineering, Computer Science or IT, orequivalent practical experience.A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a product supportfunction, with demonstrable experience supporting businessapplications, including triaging user issues, investigatingincidents, documenting fixes, and escalating complex issues withclear context.Confident coding ability in at least one programming language,with a willingness to learn our stack (.NET, TypeScript, Python,Power Platform and Azure) if not already familiar with it.Evidence they can deliver, whether through projects,placement/internship work, a GitHub profile/portfolio, or other workthey can walk us through clearly.#LI-HYBRID #LI-EG1
