About the Role The Technology Support Specialist I is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for providing support to the office regarding the resolution of standard desktop, notebook, and remote computing issues, while assisting with, hardware, and customer-related services, as well as handling printers, Multi-Functional Device (MFD) hardware and settings, and Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) support, including configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting. This role will be located in our Londonoffice. Please note that this role is an on-site position. Responsibilities & Qualifications Other key responsibilities include:Setting up PC and notebook computers, as well as printers, to initialise and stabilise their performanceConfiguring, deploying, and delivering mobility offerings, including iPhones, iPads, and other technology devices, while performing regular maintenance on PC equipment, such as computers, notebook computers, printers, and peripherals—and scanning computers for virusesSetting up conference rooms to use technology services (e.g. presentations, network connections, and audio/visual), and performing daily checks of conference rooms to ensure all equipment is working properlyCreating help desk tickets, notifying team members via email when taking an open request and when the request is completedMaintaining an inventory of PC hardware equipment and software programs, and utilising ServiceNow to track loaner equipment for distribution and recoveryWe’d love to hear from you if you:Possess knowledge of standard hardware components and peripheralsDemonstrate knowledge and proficiency in software programs, including Windows 10 and Microsoft OfficeExhibit analytical skills needed to troubleshoot a variety of symptoms, diagnose problems, and test, recommend, and implement solutions to technology problemsAnd have:A high school diploma or equivalent A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems, preferablyTechnology support experience with PC hardware/software, preferablyExperience working with remote communications hardware including modems, wireless routers, and network interface cards , preferablyExperience working with notebook computers, preferablyExperience with installations and upgrades, training and technical documentation Benefits & Additional Information Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
