I’m working with a leading international organisation looking for a Treasury & Process Assistant to join their Finance team, based in the St Paul’s area of London. This is a great opportunity for someone with around 5–7 years’ experience in Finance, Treasury support, Finance Operations or a banking back-office environment, who enjoys working with numbers, systems and processes.What are we looking for? You’ll ideally have:5–7 years’ experience in a similar Finance, Treasury, Finance Operations or Banking Operations roleStrong SAP experience – this is a key requirementGood Excel and general IT skillsStrong numerical and analytical abilityExcellent attention to detail and accuracyExperience working with payments, banking or financial processesAn understanding of financial controls and processesA practical, problem-solving approach with the ability to investigate and resolve issuesGood communication skills and the confidence to work with internal teams, banks and other stakeholders What will you be doing? Working as part of the Finance team, you’ll support the smooth running of day-to-day treasury and back-office operations, including:Processing payments and receipts, including payment runs and manual paymentsSupporting FX (foreign exchange) back-office activitiesMaintaining customer bank information within SAPProcessing expenses and other finance-related activitiesMonitoring daily finance and treasury operations and resolving issues where requiredSupporting outsourced finance operations and ensuring processes are completed accuratelyHelping identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing processesSupporting the implementation of new and improved proceduresMaintaining appropriate financial controls and monitoring processesPreparing reports and supporting regular reviews of banking and cash management arrangementsKeeping up to date with developments in treasury technology, processes and regulations Treasury experience would be advantageous, but candidates from Finance Operations or banking back-office environments with the right experience will also be considered.
