Salary: £125,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Remote

Are you an experienced Technical Product Manager looking to define the vision for developer-centric platform services in a high-growth, cloud-native environment?

A leading tech-driven company is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and lifecycle of core workload platform assets, including AWS-native services (RDS, DynamoDB, Elasticache), managed datastores, and on-prem data solutions. This role is central to driving developer productivity, backend scalability, and infrastructure simplification.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for workload platform technologies.

  • Be the key liaison between Platform Engineering and internal developers-understand their pain points and gather feedback.

  • Define user stories, product specifications, and a prioritised agile backlog.

  • Evangelise the platform's capabilities across the business and drive adoption.

  • Oversee workload asset lifecycle management, from evaluation to graceful deprecation.

  • Analyse key metrics-developer satisfaction, performance, cost-efficiency-to inform product direction.

  • Influence security, compliance, finance, and development teams to align on strategic goals.

You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years in Product Management with a strong focus on developer platforms or infrastructure tooling.

  • Hands-on experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or SRE.

  • Deep technical understanding of AWS, including services like RDS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, IAM, S3, and others.

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, and other datastores.

  • Confident communication skills and the ability to lead technical conversations and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Desirable:

  • AWS certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect).

  • Experience working across global teams and time zones.

  • Background in delivering enterprise-scale solutions.

If you're passionate about building scalable, secure, and developer-first infrastructure solutions-this is your next challenge.
