Applied Computer Vision (ACV) is a fast-growing Scottish technology company delivering AI-driven vision systems and modern security solutions to the manufacturing, food production, logistics, and commercial sectors.

We design, build, and install tailored technology that helps clients improve quality, safety, efficiency, and site visibility. As demand grows, we're now looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive our expansion across the UK.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage your own pipeline across industrial, commercial, and security markets
• Identify new opportunities and win new business
• Meet with clients, understand their challenges, and propose tailored solutions
• Deliver presentations, site visits, and solution demos
• Work closely with our technical team to shape proposals
• Represent ACV at client sites and industry events
• Drive revenue growth and help shape our commercial strategy

This is a consultative, solutions-focused role—ideal for someone confident selling technology with clear operational value.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Proven B2B sales / business development experience
• Comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers (Ops Directors, Site Managers, Engineering Leads, etc.)
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
• Self-motivated, organised, and proactive
• UK driving licence + willingness to travel

Nice to Have

• Experience in CCTV/security, industrial tech, automation, SaaS, AI, or systems integration
• Background selling into manufacturing or food production environments
