THE ROLE

We are looking for one senior business development consultant to lead our UK market entry. This is not a volume sales role. This is a relationship-led, consultative position for someone who already has the trust of technology decision-makers at UK mid-market companies.

You will be the first person on the ground in the UK. If you perform, you build the team around you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

— Open doors with CTOs, CPOs, and Heads of Digital at UK companies between £10M–£200M revenue

— Represent Applore’s advisory-led positioning in discovery conversations

— Qualify opportunities and work closely with the founding team in India to scope and propose

— Own the UK pipeline from first introduction to signed contract

— Provide weekly market intelligence back to the leadership team

WHO YOU ARE

This role is specifically right for someone who:

— Has 10+ years in UK enterprise technology — as a CTO, Head of Digital, senior BD director at a digital agency, or technology buyer at a mid-market company

— Has personally influenced or closed technology services contracts above £100K

— Has genuine, warm relationships with decision-makers in at least two of our target sectors: fintech, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, or B2B SaaS

— Is either between full-time roles or actively seeking a serious consulting engagement

— Can commit a minimum of 2–3 days per week

— Does not currently represent a competing Indian IT services firm

This role is NOT right for you if:

— Your network is primarily other consultants, agencies, or vendors

— You have not been directly involved in a commercial technology decision above £50K

— You are looking for a passive retainer with minimal accountability
