IT Technician

This could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. Manchester Academy is part of United Learning, and we're looking for a permanent IT Graduate to join the team. You'll be based on-site, helping staff and students with day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- You must live within a 45-minute commute of Manchester Academy. This role is entirely on-site.
The offer:
- £24,000+ salary
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00-16:00, with some flexibility)

The role includes:
- First-line IT support for staff and students
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues
- Supporting classroom tech and network devices
- Maintaining user accounts, AV equipment, backups, and security
- Escalating more complex issues to the wider IT tea

- A degree in IT from a UK university
- Experience in a customer-facing role (any sector)
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Confidence using:
* Windows 11
* Microsoft Office and 365 (Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
* Basic networking and user account setup
* AV equipment in classrooms - Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- A genuine interest in learning and improving
- A commitment to safeguarding and data protection
