Functional Oracle Financials Consultant (Cloud)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Oracle Financials Consultant (Cloud) to join a leading organisation based in the Home Counties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance systems professional to play a key role in the ongoing development, support, and optimisation of Oracle Financials applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert for Oracle Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, etc.)
• Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications
• Configure Oracle Financials modules to meet business needs
• Support end-to-end project life cycles including upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations
• Liaise with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow
• Provide training and support to end users and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Functional Consultant with Oracle Financials (Cloud)
• Strong understanding of core financial processes and accounting principles
• Experience in full life cycle Oracle Financials implementations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Comfortable with hybrid working (2-3 days onsite in the Home Counties)

Desirable:

• 5 years Oracle Cloud experience
• Professional accounting qualification (eg, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus
