Oracle OCC (Oracle Commerce Cloud) Developer

Apps IT is currently recruiting an Oracle OCC (Oracle Commerce Cloud) Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support features within Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC)
• Customise storefront experiences and implement business requirements
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems (eg payment gateways, ERP, inventory, CRM)
• Work with REST APIs and OCC extension frameworks
• Develop custom widgets and Back End services where required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, product, and engineering
• Investigate and resolve technical issues and performance problems
• Support releases, deployments, and continuous improvements

Required Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Oracle OCC/Oracle Commerce Cloud
• Solid JavaScript skills (Node.js experience preferred)
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON-based services
• Good understanding of E-commerce processes (catalog, checkout, promotions, pricing)
• Experience integrating third-party enterprise systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to Oracle Commerce (including Legacy ATG)
• Experience with cloud-based deployments
• Knowledge of modern Front End frameworks used in commerce projects
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Background in large-scale retail or E-commerce platforms
