Job Description:

The Business Planning & Operations Lead for the B2B Commercial Channel will bridge the gap between technical and business teams, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative technologies – including Mixed Reality and Artificial Intelligence – to enterprise customers worldwide.

This position provides strategic and operational leadership to align direction with company goals, build scalable processes, and support revenue growth. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, collaborative, and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support leadership in strategic, operational, and financial planning to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Lead operational reviews and the overall rhythm of the business to monitor progress on regional goals (e.g. monthly and quarterly business reviews).
  • Oversee sales operations processes, including quarterly and annual goal setting.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, representing the B2B Sales team.
  • Identify, scope, and lead critical strategic projects for the Commercial team in collaboration with partner functions.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new products, markets, or verticals.
  • Design and maintain reporting frameworks for sales opportunities, forecasting, and business cadence.
  • Conduct sales performance analysis to identify opportunities to improve the sales cycle and drive growth.
  • Lead CRM strategy and optimisation (Salesforce) to enable scalable customer acquisition and retention.
  • Manage territory alignment, segmentation, and distribution analysis, providing insights to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to sales leadership based on data-driven analysis.
  • Provide sales training, tools, and KPIs to accelerate performance at regional and vertical levels.
  • Conduct advanced research and market analysis to inform leadership decisions.
  • Facilitate key leadership meetings and alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through to implementation.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying efficiency opportunities, improving processes, and enhancing organisational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in strategic planning, sales operations, or business operations within big tech.
  • Strong leadership and influencing abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful strategies in cross-functional environments.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with experience translating strategy into execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a relevant quantitative field.
  • Strong quantitative analysis and data interpretation skills.
  • Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in enterprise sales and/or SaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with B2B enterprise channel sales operations.
  • Advanced degree (MBA preferred).
  • Experience using Salesforce and Tableau.

Role Context

This position sits within the Reality Labs Sales organisation, specifically within the Business Planning & Operations function. The BP&O Lead will work closely with the EMEA B2B Sales leadership team, focusing on strategic planning, annual and capacity planning, goal setting, forecasting, and performance measurement.

The role involves supporting sales leaders with actionable insights, leading operational initiatives, and partnering with finance and tooling teams to ensure successful project delivery. Regular activities include preparing for weekly and quarterly sales reviews, analysing performance data, and executing strategic initiatives to improve commercial effectiveness.

  • Strong background in B2B, strategy, and revenue operations.
  • Experience in big tech or large software companies.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability, able to translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience within large-scale technology, SaaS, or reseller/channel environments.
  • Proven record of driving operational improvements and business growth.
