Hours: 40-hour week

Job Description:

Main Requirements:

  • Process legal removal requests across products and platforms
  • Manage stakeholder communications and support escalation requests
  • Work closely with vendors to help build and improve processes and policies related to legal removal requests

Language Requirements:

  • English required
  • German is nice to have

Role Overview:

As a Policy Specialist, you will contribute to policy implementation and operational processes by supporting legal removal requests, managing escalations, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work independently on policy-related issues with minimal guidance.

You will help design, execute, and improve processes that promote trust, compliance, and operational efficiency across products and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, process, and manage legal removal requests across multiple products
  • Handle and support high-impact policy and stakeholder escalations with minimal guidance
  • Partner with stakeholders and vendors to develop and improve workflows, policies, and operational processes related to legal removals
  • Identify, analyse, and prioritise policy issues that may impact users or the business
  • Support the implementation of global product policies while considering regional requirements and cultural context
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support policy launches, operational improvements, and trust and safety initiatives
  • Participate in investigations and respond to external inquiries related to policy and legal requests

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with regulatory or policy-related processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage escalations and work in fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of policy development and implementation processes
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
  • Experience in crisis management or handling sensitive requests is beneficial
