Pay Comments: Up to £64.07 per hour PAYE
Hours: 35-hour week
Duration: 6 months (potential extension)
Job Description:
Project Manager will work directly with customers and system integration partners to initiate and lead digital marketing and transformation projects using client's Marketing and Commerce solutions.
Operating at multiple levels within customer organisations, you will evaluate proposed solutions, assess risks, confirm requirements, manage scope, and support team resourcing. You will coordinate and lead all aspects of project delivery, from initiation through planning, delivery, monitoring, and closure.
You will support customers in optimising client's solutions by understanding their challenges and developing innovative, measurable outcomes. This role covers the UK & Ireland, Middle East, and Africa, but is primarily UK-based. You should be willing and able to travel 30–60% of your working time and attend the London office three days per week.
What you’ll do
- Lead teams in scoping activities to identify, gather, and analyse requirements, define key business drivers, and design effective, innovative solutions
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including estimation, scope management, planning, execution, and monitoring (covering risk, budget, timelines, and reporting)
- Oversee project resourcing and commercial aspects, including forecasting, time tracking, and invoicing
- Manage project communications with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality standards
- Drive customer success by providing mentorship, industry-leading practices, and strategic advice on client's Marketing and Commerce solutions
- Actively contribute to PMO practice development
What you’ll need to succeed
- Strong foundational project management experience delivering digital marketing implementation projects for a software vendor (or a hybrid vendor/client environment)
- Proven experience managing projects involving digital marketing, marketing automation, campaign management, or content management solutions
- Ability to manage large, complex projects or multiple concurrent smaller projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with expertise in risk management, prioritisation, and executive-level presentations
- Experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)
- A recognised project management qualification and a background in business consulting
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Full professional fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 6 years’ project management experience in a relevant industry
