ERP Administrator – Sage X3 & DataLinx

Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading manufacturing and distribution business who are currently looking for an experienced ERP Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role will focus on supporting and maintaining the company’s Sage X3 ERP platform and DataLinx, ensuring users receive high-quality support and that system processes run smoothly across multiple sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing day-to-day support for Sage X3 and DataLinx users across the business.
  • Troubleshooting system issues, workflow errors, and data inconsistencies.
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and security roles within Sage X3.
  • Supporting small configuration changes, menu updates, and system tweaks.
  • Assisting with data imports/exports and maintaining data accuracy across modules.
  • Working with operational teams to understand processes and identify improvements.
  • Coordinating with third-party ERP support partners for escalated issues or development work.
  • Supporting testing, documentation, and user training for new features or changes.
  • Collaborating with the internal IT team on integrations, backups, and system stability.

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Sage X3 in an administrative or super-user capacity.
  • Familiarity with DataLinx or similar warehouse/stock management modules.
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Ability to support non-technical users and explain system processes clearly.
  • Good problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.
  • Basic SQL knowledge (reading/editing queries) is desirable.
  • Experience working with third-party ERP support providers is beneficial.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
