Software Architect

Archers is recruiting on behalf of a product development team who provide energy, power and storage systems to a wide range of cutting edge industries. The business is based in the Greater Glasgow area in Scotland.

The role is to join a small but growing cohort of Software Engineers. This will be a senior role in the team as a Software Architect.

As well as writing some code, you'll have the opportunity to mentor less experienced colleagues, liaise with product managers and owners regarding client scopes and specifications, run code reviews, and collaborate with the senior team on work estimates and packages.

There will be the occasional opportunity to travel to meet and collaborate with colleagues in the European Union.

The tech stack includes:

• Embedded C bare metal
• Jira, SQL, Model Based Dev tools, e.g, MatLab, Simulink etc
• DSP Microcontrollers and/or real time control
• Unit testing and validation tools
