Our client builds and operates petabyte scale platforms and massive ML infrastructure. They utilise AI extensively across their organisation and require someone to lead their AI security strategy across the entire business. This business hire the very best and brightest individuals globally. Expect to be surrounded by the top 0.001% of Engineers.

As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll be acting as the technical authority across the full AI lifecycle. Working with engineering, research, and risk teams, you’ll design and implement security controls that protect AI systems at scale.

What you’ll be doing:

• Define and drive AI security strategy across model development and deployment
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific risks (e.g. model integrity, prompt injection, misuse)
• Establish secure design principles and guardrails for AI-enabled systems
• Design identity, access, logging, and integrity controls for AI platforms
• Lead threat modelling, design reviews, and key security initiatives
• Influence firm-wide AI governance and risk strategy

They're looking for:

• Experience securing large-scale software or ML systems
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML security (adversarial threats, model integrity, supply chain)
• Understanding of modern ML architectures and workflows
• Strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on mindset
• Ability to influence and lead through collaboration

The ideal profile (but please don't be discouraged from applying if you don't meet all criteria):

• MSci or MEng in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
• 8+ years Security Engineering, Software Engineering experience
• Previously worked for AI Lab or FAANG companies
• Further study or degree in AI/ML Security
