Arcus Search have partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation in London who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team. More details are below:

Role: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Central London - 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £150,000 - £200,000 + bonus

The role:

This role sits within the Platform Engineering function, responsible for building and owning the platforms and tools that enable scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems.

The platforms process large volumes of data, and this role focuses on enabling seamless data movement by developing and maintaining SDKs and libraries used across a wide range of applications.

Requirements:

• Expert level in Python
• Strong level of Kubernetes
• DevOps experience, within tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Helm, or other IaC
• Degree within Computer Science, ideally at Masters or PhD level
• Experience with Kafka, Spark, Trino would be beneficial
