🚀 We're Hiring: Senior Business Analyst (Data)

We're supporting a major public sector organisation in delivering trusted, well-governed data products and services across Data Platform Domain Teams. Working within agile teams, you'll engage with business and technical stakeholders to define, prioritise and manage requirements — helping shape the future of data curation and self-service access across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Understand and articulate user needs across platform consumers

✅ Define and manage requirements for data platforms and enabling services

✅ Analyse data processes and flows to support platform design and modernisation

✅ Support discovery, delivery and iterative improvement

✅ Ensure alignment with policy, security and governance standards

✅ Contribute to measuring outcomes linked to improved data accessibility and usability

Skills & Experience Required:

🔹 Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements management experience

🔹 Backlog refinement and 3 Amigos facilitation

🔹 Data governance: data lineage, data quality, data dictionary development

🔹 Experience working within agile delivery teams

🔹 Strong analytical skills — data process/flow analysis

🔹 Understanding of data platform design and modernisation

🔹 Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

🔹 Awareness of policy, security and governance frameworks

🔹 Senior-level stakeholder management and mentoring capability

Role Details:

💷 Rate: Up to £390/day

🔒 Clearance: Active SC

📍 Location: Newcastle / Manchester / Birmingham – 40% travel
