Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a pre‐deal / merger environment , delivering complex IT infrastructure and tenant‐to‐tenant migration programmes . The role sits at the intersection of business readiness, technical delivery, and third‐party coordination, requiring strong stakeholder management and hands‐on project leadership.

This is a highly visible role within a fast‐paced transformation programme, based primarily on‐site in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre‐deal and merger‐related IT infrastructure projects , ensuring operational readiness and delivery alignment
• Manage tenant‐to‐tenant migrations , including planning, dependency mapping, cutover governance and risk management
• Coordinate multiple third‐party vendors and systems integrators , holding them accountable to delivery milestones
• Own project plans, RAID logs, governance reporting, and senior stakeholder communications
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security and identity teams across both buyer and seller environments
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, and regulatory/compliance requirements
• Support integration or separation activities across O365, Azure and core IT infrastructure

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering IT infrastructure programmes
• Strong background in M&A, pre‐deal, merger or separation projects
• Demonstrable experience managing tenant‐to‐tenant migrations (O365 and/or Azure environments)
• Extensive experience in third‐party management within complex enterprise programmes
• Comfortable operating in high‐pressure, ambiguous pre‐deal environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including C‐suite engagement

Nice to Have

• Understanding of O365, Azure, identity and cloud infrastructure concepts
• Experience working alongside architecture, security and networking teams
• Previous financial services, consultancy, or large enterprise environments

Contract Details

• 6 months initial term
• Outside IR35
• 3–4 days per week onsite in the City of London
• Competitive day rate (dependent on experience)
